The spirit of the place

A Provençal farmhouse facing the citadel of Sisteron

Le Mas des Cinq Fontaines overlooks the Durance valley, with a panoramic view of the citadel of Sisteron, fortified by Vauban.

Its landscaped grounds live to the sound of running water from the fountains. Lavender, rosemary, savory, thyme, cypress and century-old olive trees scent the air: a setting that invites calm, for you and your guests alike.

Between the Luberon and the Alps, the medieval town of Sisteron and its shops are just a stone’s throw away, and Marseille Provence airport and the Aix-en-Provence TGV station about an hour’s drive.

Every moment has its setting

They are all yours during your stay. You choose where each moment takes place.

Dinner and dancing

The patio orangery

A glass orangery whose roof opens completely at the touch of a remote control: you dine under the open sky, surrounded by greenery. If rain drops by, it closes and becomes fully watertight. Nothing can spoil the party.

Designed like a Provençal village square, with its fountain, stone columns and wrought-iron mezzanine, it opens onto the dance floor.

The ceremony, the welcome dinner

The terrace of the Mas

200 m² (2,150 sq ft) beneath century-old plane trees, at the foot of the 17th-century house. By day, its cool shade hosts summer ceremonies and the next morning’s brunch.

At nightfall, under a canopy of lights, it becomes the magical setting for your welcome dinner or drinks reception.

The next day, it’s time for brunch… and a swim with your guests.

The driftwood heart among the lavender

Your photos

The lavender

Beds of lavender planted across the estate, around a sculpture called “the driftwood heart”. In bloom from June, they give your photos the most Provençal of backdrops, right through to early autumn.

A lakeside ceremony

The lake

The estate’s newest addition: a jetty floating on the water, for a romantic and original ceremony. It can even hold a grand piano and its musicians.

For your photos, a breathtaking panoramic view over the Durance valley.

Welcoming your guests

The gardens

This is the first place your guests discover. In the shade of tall trees, a glass of orangeade, lemonade or iced tea welcomes them. The perfect setting for your group photos.

And since this is Provence, a pétanque court awaits you just below.
